Cedrick Webb was a physical-education teacher at Bellingrath Junior High School in Montgomery. The Montgomery County Board of Education ("the Board") canceled Webb's employment contract in February 2007. Webb contested the cancellation, and the matter was heard before a hearing officer who reinstated Webb's employment yet ordered discipline in the form of a temporary suspension.
