Bobby Long had been employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Inc. ("Goodyear"), since 1993; he began working at Goodyear's Gadsden plant in October 2002. On July 31, 2006, while performing his assigned work as a second-stage tire builder, Long suffered a strain to his left knee. Long was seen at the plant infirmary by Dr. Sabrina Morgan, who diagnosed the strain and who suggested that Long ice his knee at certain intervals. Long followed Dr....
