Hiler, was convicted of falsely reporting an incident, a violation of § 13A-11-11, Ala.Code 1975, and menacing, a violation of § 13A-6-23, Ala.Code 1975.1 The trial court sentenced him to serve concurrent terms of six years in prison on the falsely reporting conviction and six months in jail on the menacing conviction.
