Gene V. Martin Jr. appeals his convictions for second-degree and fourth-degree controlled substance misconduct, based on his manufacturing of methamphetamine. The primary evidence against Martin was obtained during the execution of a search warrant at a residence that Martin was visiting at the time. This search warrant, in turn, was based in large measure on the testimony of a state trooper who walked up to the residence...
