I. INTRODUCTION

A worker agreed to perform an errand for his employer, a subcontractor, on the worker's day off. While engaged in the errand, the worker was injured at the job site. His employer filed a notice of controversion on the basis that the worker was intoxicated at the time of the injury and his injuries were proximately caused by his intoxication.
