Teck Cominco Alaska Incorporated is the operator of the Red Dog Mine ("Mine"), which is remotely located in the Kotzebue area on lands owned by NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. Teck Cominco fired Maurice Mitchell from his job as a warehouse supervisor at the Mine after concluding that Mitchell had sexually harassed a contractor's employee and lied during the ensuing investigation.
