Appellant, Jamie Robert Lynn Calhoun, appeals from the order dismissing his petition for relief pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA), 42 Pa.C.S.A. §§ 9541-9546. Specifically, he claims he received an illegal sentence because the consecutive sentences for his conviction of simple assault and reckless endangerment should have merged.
