¶ 1 This case arises from a medical negligence suit filed by Plaintiff/Appellee, Angela Edwards, individually, and on behalf of her husband, Johnny G. Edwards, an incapacitated person (Edwards). Ultimately, the underlying lawsuit was settled and Edwards sought court approval of the settlement. Defendant/Appellant, Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA), objected to the settlement on the basis that Plaintiff's proposed distribution of settlement...
