After a five-day jury-waived trial in the Superior Court conducted pursuant to G. L. c. 123A, § 14, a judge found the defendant to be a sexually dangerous person and ordered him committed to the Massachusetts Treatment Center (treatment center) for an indeterminate period of from one day to life.
