The State filed a petition alleging that J.C., a child, should be adjudicated delinquent and/or in need of services based upon the commission of seven counts of simple burglary, violations of LSA-R.S. 14:62, and one count of theft of a firearm, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:67.15.
