This appeal arises from the conviction and sentencing of the defendant for second degree murder. The defendant alleged that insufficient evidence was presented to support his conviction. He also asserted that the trial court erroneously admitted unauthenticated statements and alleged hearsay. Following the defendant's conviction by the jury, the defendant claimed that the trial court abused its discretion in denying his motion for new trial....
