This suit was brought by plaintiff against defendant insurer for Hurricane Katrina-related damages to his residence located in Des Allemands, Louisiana. The petition was filed on September 13, 2010. Defendant filed an exception of prescription, which the trial court granted on November 14, 2011. Plaintiff appeals.
