In this criminal appeal, the defendant, Jeremy Johnson, appeals his conviction for manslaughter and eighty-year sentence as a habitual offender. Finding no error, we affirm his conviction and sentence.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

On February 6, 2003, Mr. Johnson and Quantrell Kelson jointly were charged by grand jury indictment with second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. They both pleaded not guilty...
