Appellant Alvando Givens, Sr., was convicted of malice murder for the death of Voncetta Render.1 On June 4, 2006, the police responded to a suspicious vehicle call and found the victim's body inside her green Pontiac Bonneville parked on the side of a road in Fulton County.
