LEE v. SUNTRUST BANK

No. A11A1576.

722 S.E.2d 884 (2012)

314 Ga. App. 63

LEE v. SUNTRUST BANK.

Court of Appeals of Georgia.

February 9, 2012.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Gary L. Britt , Atlanta, for appellant.

Stokes, Lazarus & Carmichael, William Kim Carmichael , for appellee.

MILLER, Judge.

Bernice Lee appeals from the grant of summary judgment to SunTrust Bank regarding Lee's apparent default on an equity line of credit. Lee contends that the trial court erred by: (1) finding that her sworn denials of her signature on the note were not sufficient to create a genuine issue of material fact; and (2) holding that she had the burden to overcome the presumption that the signature on the underlying promissory note was valid.
