BENTON, J.

The City of Jacksonville appeals the final judgment entered in an eminent domain case insofar as it awarded Westland Park Associates, II (Westland) $685,000 in "severance damages," in addition to the $143,420 it awarded for the part (Parcels 106, 706, and 806) of Westland's property that the City actually took. We reverse.
