On April 3, 2013, a grand jury returned an indictment charging defendant Joel Cedeño-Mariano ("Cedeño") with one count of being an illegal alien in possession of ammunition, in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(5)(A) and 924(a)(2). (Docket 15.) A three-day jury trial commenced on June 12, 2013; at the close of the government's case on June 13, 2013, defendant Cedeño moved for acquittal...
