("Amgen") and its subsidiary Amgen Manufacturing, Limited ("AML"), participated in two employer-sponsored pension plans, the Amgen Retirement and Savings Plan (the "Amgen Plan") and the Retirement and Savings Plan for Amgen Manufacturing, Limited (the "AML Plan") (collectively, "the Plans").
