BROWN, Circuit Judge:

Barry Gewin was convicted of securities fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit fraud. He was sentenced to nine years in prison and ordered to pay almost $2 million in restitution jointly and severally with his co-conspirators and a $500,000 fine. The sentencing court found Gewin had about $650,000 available to him at the time of sentencing and ordered him to turn those funds over to the court as partial payment of his financial obligations...
