HERLIHY, Judge.

Defendant, Vincent Starlings, has moved to suppress a statement he gave to the Wilmington Police, and a gun seized from his residence. He contends the warrant for the search of his residence was illegal, as it was based primarily upon an earlier illegal inventory search of a vehicle, and that he was detained for an unreasonable time during which he gave a statement to the police.
