On April 29, 2010, Julio Mantez was adjudicated guilty of unlawful possession of controlled substances, a violation of § 13A-12-212(a)(1), Ala.Code 1975 (C. 7); the Madison Circuit Court sentenced Mantez to, among other things, a two-year term of imprisonment, which it suspended, and two years' supervised probation.
