The appellant, Ren Hawkins Brooks, was convicted of two counts of first-degree sodomy, violations of § 13A-6-63(a)(3), Ala.Code 1975, and one count of first-degree sexual abuse, a violation of § 13A-6-66(a)(3), Ala.Code 1975. The trial court sentenced him to serve concurrent terms of twenty-five years in prison on the first-degree sodomy convictions and ten years in prison on the first-degree sexual-abuse conviction.
