Emily Holcomb suffered multiple broken bones when she was hit by a Norfolk Southern Railway Company ("Norfolk Southern") train at a pedestrian crossing on the company's track located in Villa Rica. Holcomb filed a complaint for personal injury. Norfolk Southern thereafter filed a motion for summary judgment, which the trial court granted.
