Kelvin Perkins appeals from his conviction, following a jury trial, of the class D felony of domestic assault in the second degree, in violation of Section 565.073, RSMo. 2000. He was sentenced as a persistent assault offender and a persistent felony offender to 15 years of imprisonment.
