The defendant, Silas S., appeals from the judgment of the trial court adjudicating him to be a youthful offender in violation of General Statutes § 54-76b for having committed the crime of criminal trespass in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-108 (a)(1). Specifically, he claims that the court improperly ordered him to pay restitution to the victims, the owners of the property on which he trespassed.1<...
