Defendant-Appellant William Clarkson was indicted for possession of a firearm by a felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). In a motion before the United States District Court for the District of Utah, Clarkson sought to suppress all evidence obtained in the search of the vehicle he was driving.
