STATEMENT OF CASE

On November 25, 2003, the State charged Romallis Stukes with two counts of attempted second degree murder. He pled not guilty to both counts at his arraignment on December 2. On October 25, 2004, a jury found him guilty of two counts of aggravated battery. At sentencing on January 21, 2005 Stukes filed a motion for new trial and for post verdict judgment of acquittal.
