¶ 1. Richard Anderson was indicted by a DeSoto County grand jury on one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance and one count of the sale of a controlled substance. A jury subsequently found Anderson guilty of the conspiracy offense and not guilty of the crime of selling a controlled substance.
