Dexter Leon Hedspeth Jr. appeals from his conviction for the felony offense of possession of a controlled substance. See Tex. Health & Safety Code Ann. § 481.115(d) (West 2003). After the trial court denied his motion to suppress, appellant pleaded guilty. The trial court assessed punishment at ten-years' confinement and a $1,000 fine.
