James R. Grizzle appeals the summary judgment against him on his claim of negligent infliction of emotional distress. The ruling was based upon the trial court's determination that Grizzle had failed to make requisite showings under the impact rule and the pecuniary loss rule. The record shows that the trial court erred with respect to the impact rule. Thus, although the record shows no error with respect to the pecuniary loss rule, we must reverse...
