This is a restricted appeal. Wachovia Bank, N.A. sued James E. Goodman on a promissory note. Goodman did not file an answer, and the trial court rendered a no-answer default judgment in favor of Wachovia for the principal amount of the note, plus interest, late charges, and attorney's fees.
