PER CURIAM.

The petitioner, Glen Bailey, appeals following the denial of certification to appeal from the judgment denying his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus. The petitioner claims that the habeas court abused its discretion in denying certification to appeal and improperly rejected his claim that his appellate counsel had provided ineffective assistance. We dismiss the appeal.
