Gregory Wilhelm's credit card debt was assigned for collection to Pinnacle Credit Services, LLC ("Pinnacle"), and then to Credico, Inc. ("Credico"). Credico sent Wilhelm a "Notice of Lawsuit" letter threatening to sue unless Wilhelm paid $8,808.20, an amount that included a charge of interest on past due interest, which violates North Dakota law.
