This matter is before us on remand by the Michigan Supreme Court "for plenary consideration of whether MCL 768.27a conflicts with MRE 404(b) and, if it does, whether the statute prevails over the court rule." People v. Watkins, 479 Mich. 853, 734 N.W.2d 601 (2007). We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand for farther proceedings.
