This case presents the novel issue of whether a horse and buggy qualifies as either a "motor vehicle" or a "vessel" in the Bankruptcy Code. For reasons explained below, it is neither.

BACKGROUND

Around 5:00 a.m. on January 1, 2004, the appellee, who was eighteen at the time, was traveling alone in a horse and buggy near the intersection of Indiana State Road 37 and Notestine Road...
