Appellant Johnny Rambahal is charged with violating Minn.Stat. § 624.713, subd. 1(b) (2006), which prohibits him from possessing a pistol because of a prior conviction for a crime of violence. In the course of discovery, the State disclosed two police reports from a separate robbery investigation.
