Claudious W. Channer is a native and citizen of Jamaica. He entered the United States as an immigrant on December 23, 1980. On January 9, 1990, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut convicted Channer of using and carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1).
