CALABRIA, Judge.

Lamar Dameian Bass ("defendant") appeals from a judgment entered upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of first-degree murder. We find no prejudicial error.

At trial, the State presented evidence showing that several people boarded a bus in downtown Durham, North Carolina on 26 December 2005. Brittany Johnson ("Johnson"), then fifteen years old, was already seated when defendant boarded the bus then sat down at the back of the bus near Johnson...
