On November 1, 2002, Malvern police officers responded to a report of a rape. The victim told the police that she heard her doorbell ring and when she opened the door slightly, an intruder rushed through. She stated that the intruder held a knife with a long blade in one hand and a rag with a strong chemical odor, which he tried to place over her face. The intruder placed the knife to the victim's throat, forced her onto the floor of the laundry...
