Defendant appeals his conviction for sexual abuse in the first degree for an act alleged to have been committed between January 1, 2003 and August 30, 2004. He argues that, although the court properly admitted evidence that he had sexually abused a child in 1986, the court erred in admitting evidence that he had been convicted of that act.
