¶ 1. Following a jury trial, Steven Wayne Pierce was found guilty of sexual battery pursuant to Mississippi Code Annotated section 97-3-95(1)(d) (Rev.2006). He was sentenced to serve twenty-five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
