¶ 1 The victim of an assault alleges that a deputy sheriff was negligent when carrying out a judge's order to escort the assailant to jail. Because the lawsuit challenges the manner in which the order was carried out rather than the substance of the order itself, quasi-judicial immunity does not shield the deputy or her employer.
