INTRODUCTION

¶ 1 Petitioner Pete Thanos ("Thanos") filed a motion to intervene in the divorce proceedings of petitioner Kimberlee Pearson ("Kimberlee") and respondent Kelly Pearson ("Kelly") in order to challenge the paternity of the Pearsons' son Z.P. The district court granted the motion, but the Utah Court of Appeals reversed, concluding that Thanos lacked standing based on our decision in In re J.W.F. (Schoolcraft).
