Defendant was convicted in a bench trial of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. At trial, the state adduced evidence that defendant had confessed to the offenses. Defendant argues on appeal that the state failed to adduce any evidence that corroborated his confession as required under ORS 136.425(1)1 and, thus, that there was insufficient evidence to convict him of the charged offenses...
