Defendant Alonzo Elmer Jackson was convicted by a jury of two counts of kidnapping to commit rape (Pen. Code, § 209, subd. (b)(1)),1 two counts of rape (§ 261, subd. (a)(2)), three counts of sexual battery by restraint (§ 243.4, subd. (a)), and one count of sexual penetration with a foreign object. (§ 289, subd. (a)(1).)
