The husband, John Cherin, appeals a decision of a Probate and Family Court judge awarding the wife, Patricia Ann Cherin, alimony and approximately one-half of the marital estate pursuant to G. L. c. 208, § 34, and attorney's fees pursuant to G. L. c. 208, § 38.
