The court properly rejected defendant's peremptory challenge to a juror, made after both sides had accepted the juror and moved on to the exercise of challenges with respect to another group of jurors (see People v Rincon, 40 A.D.3d 538 [2007], lv denied 9 N.Y.3d 880 [2007]; People v Smith, 278 A.D.2d 75, 76 [2000], lv denied 96 N.Y.2d 763 [2001]).
