On October 24, 2002, Jesse Jay Montejo and Jerry Moore were indicted by a grand jury for the first degree murder of Lewis Ferrari, a 61-year-old Slidell man who was found dead by his wife in their kitchen on September 5, 2002.1 After trial, the jury found Montejo guilty as charged on March 9, 2005.
