Defendant, Ted Godfrey, was convicted of home invasion (720 ILCS 5/12-11(a)(2) (West 2004)), criminal trespass to a residence (720 ILCS 5/19-4(a)(2) (West 2004)) and domestic battery (720 ILCS 5/12-3.2(a)(1) (West 2004)). The trial court sentenced him to a statutory minimum term of six years imprisonment. On appeal, defendant asks us to (1) reduce his conviction and sentence under Supreme Court Rule 615, and (2) remand...
