We disregard the Department of Corrections' motion for rehearing or certification, which was filed by an attorney who is not of record in this case, because it is a legal nullity. See Bortz v. Bortz, 675 So.2d 622, 624 (Fla. 1st DCA 1996). Accordingly, we deny Melvin Sykes' motion to strike, as moot.
